Bread is one of those delicacies you can have with any drink whether sweet or savory. There is just something fulfilling about bread that we can all relate to in a way.

But occasionally, most of us shy away from bread because of the long waiting process involved in its preparation besides the boring presentation and look of the regular bread in most common bread recipes.

A better cheat sheet to this is the preparation of a yeast free bread.

Did you know that most yeast free bread recipes are the easiest and quickest to make, besides being able to provide you with various options to enjoy as it remains healthy? Whether you are looking for something quick for a snack,  or on a party what I am going to provide you with will come in handy.

1. Pumpkin bread recipe

If pumpkin bread was a piece of cloth, then it will be that sassy dress you have on repeat with every occasion that demands your sassy self. If you want to make this recipe better, you may want to consider mixing it up with your pumpkin spices. If you get it right, you will love it.


  • 15oz. can pumpkin puree,
  • 4 eggs,
  • 3 cups sugar,
  • 1 Cup vegetable oil,
  • 2/3 Cup water,
  • 3 1/2 Cups flour,
  • 2 teaspoon of baking soda,
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder,
  • 2 teaspoons of salt,
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon,
  • 1 teaspoon of mixed spice/ allspice,
  • 1 teaspoons nutmeg,
  • 1/2 teaspoons of ginger,
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves *optional,
  • 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips *optional

Method of cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees before you start with the baking.
  • Use non-stick cooking spray on the two 9 x 5 cooking trays.
  • Mix oil and sugar into cream then add eggs, pumpkin and finally water.
  • All the ingredients are then shifted together before the addition of the dry ingredients.
  • If you had the mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, this is the point you want them added into your mixture.
  • The baking process in the oven takes 1 hour, after that it to sit for 30 minutes or more in a tray/pan.
  • Serve your bread as desired and enjoy.

A side note

Whether you are making with chocolate chips or not, the recipe will still produce a delicacy. If you prefer the chocolate chips, go for the mini semisweet Nestle Chocolate Chips.

Consider smearing it with room temperature bread butter, and you will have a taste of heaven.

Also, consider using the bread loaf pans.

2. Oatmeal chocolate chip bread

This already sounds like all shades of deliciousness wrapped in one bread maker recipes for one delicious food. This is perfect for your kids when they are going to school as a snack, or maybe if you want to prepare something for a small gathering. This is one of the best bread machine recipes you can put your hands on.


  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 2/3 oats quick or old-fashioned (I used old-fashioned)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips (I used Ghirardelli baking chips), per usual
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tb butter melted (I used salted)
  • 1 cup low-fat buttermilk

Method of cooking

  • Make sure that the oven has been preheated to 350 degrees.
  • The second thing is to ensure your 9×5 loaf pan are well greased and ready for use.
  • Have all the main dry ingredients mixed in a large bowl
  • In a separate smaller bowl, combine buttermilk, egg, and melted butter evenly together.
  • Mix the two mixtures until they are fully incorporated into each other. If the batter is lumpy, then you are good to go.
  • When the dough is ready, pour it into the greased loaf pan and bake.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or instead until the toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle.
  • Allow it to cool on the rack
  • Slice and serve as desired.

A side note

Bread is delicious, but when you add oats, it becomes another shade of delicious. Its best enjoyed when still warm as flavors melt in your mouth.

3. Brown Bread without Yeast

This is a famous one among the bread maker recipes given the health benefits of brown bread. The method is pretty simple, and you only require 45 minutes for the bread to be ready; 5 minutes for preparation and 40 minutes to bake.


  • The main ingredients include
  • 2 cups of brown sugar,
  • 2 cups of flour,
  • 2 tablespoons of baking powder,
  • 1 tablespoon of salt,
  • Two eggs,
  • 2 cups of milk and
  • 2/3 cups of vegetable oil.

Method of cooking

  • To get the bread ready for the oven, start by preheating the oven to about 350F and greasing 6 mini loaf pans.
  • Put the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, and salt in a bowl and mix them up.
  • Beat the eggs and add milk and oil in a different container. To this bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt mixture gradually until it becomes moist.
  • Now put the whole mixture into the mini loaf pans for baking. You can choose to sprinkle some sugar on top to give the crust extra flavor.
  • Once you are ready, put the containers in the oven and bake for 40 minutes.
    The bread can be served either hot or cold.

4. Cinnamon Bread

Another recipe you can use to make yeast-free bread is the cinnamon bread. The bread is soft and very tasty and can be prepared for breakfast or a mid-day snack.


  • The main ingredients for this recipe include
  • 4 cups of flour – preferably an all-purpose flour,
  • 4 teaspoons of baking powder,
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon,
  • 2 cups of buttermilk,
  • cup of vegetable oil,
  • 4 eggs,
  • 2 cups of sugar and
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract.
  • For the cinnamon topping, you need cups of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon.

Method of cooking

  • Start by preheating the oven to about 350 degrees. Grease the loaf pans with butter and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar generously in the pans. Coat all sides of the pan. Next step is to prepare the bread for baking.
  • Put the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in one bowl and whisk them together.
  • Use another bowl to blend the oil, buttermilk, and sugar. Beat the eggs into this mixture one at a time and add vanilla into it. Stir to form a wet paste.
  • In another small cup or bowl, put the two tablespoons of cinnamon and cups of sugar and set them aside.
  • Take the prepared pans and equally divide half of the batter among them. Sprinkle 2/3 of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on the dough in each pan. The remaining batter is to be shared between the containers and then add the cinnamon-sugar on top. Swirl through the batter in the pans using a butter knife to spread the cinnamon sugar on top evenly. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar that remains on the loaves.
  • Once ready, put the pan in the oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes if you are using large containers, or for 30 to 40 minutes if you are using mini loaf pans. Remove when ready and run a butter knife along the edges to lose then bread.

5. Strawberry Walnut Bread

The strawberry walnut bread is one of the best bread machine recipes given the magical flavor this recipe yields. It takes about 10 minutes to prepare and 45 minutes to bake.


  • The main ingredients are
  • an egg, 1 egg white,
  • cup of sugar,
  • ¼ cup of low-fat buttermilk,
  • 12 tablespoons of vanilla extract,
  • 1 cups of flour,
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda,
  • ¼ tablespoon of salt,
  • tablespoon of ground cinnamon,
  • ¼ tablespoon of ground nutmeg,
  • 2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons of coconut oil or canola oil,
  • 1 cup of chopped strawberries and
  • ¼ cup of chopped and toasted walnuts.

Method of cooking

  • First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the loaf pan by fitting parchment paper to the bottom and spraying the pan with a nonstick cooking spray. Set them aside for later use.
  • Use a small pan to stir the walnuts and toast them over medium-low heat. Be careful not to burn them. Once done, set it aside for cooling.
  • Use a large bowl to heat the egg white and the egg together until they are frothy. Add vanilla, sugar, and buttermilk and beat again.
  • Use a separate bowl to combine flour, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Add this mixture to the wet mixture prepared earlier and stir them up.
  • Stir the oil lightly and fold in toasted walnuts and chopped strawberries. Continue stirring until they combine effectively. Pour the mixture into the pans and smooth evenly.
  • Once ready, bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Once baked, remove and let the bans cool for 15 minutes before serving.

6. Chocolate and Vanilla Marble Loaf Cake

In just one and a half hours, you can prepare a delicious and classic bread that comes with great flavor. A loaf of bread that you will enjoy preparing as much as you will eating.


The main items needed to make the chocolate and vanilla marble loaf cake are

  • 5 eggs, a pinch of salt,
  • 1 ¼ cups of sugar,
  • ¼ cup of melted butter or vegetable oil,
  • 1 vanilla bean,
  • 1 2/3 cups of all-purpose flour,
  • ¼ cup of cocoa powder,
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder,
  • 3 tablespoons of water and
  • 1-2 oz. of white or dark chocolate for the topping.

Method of cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F.
  • Whisk the egg whites in a bowl and add a pinch of salt. Whisk until soft peaks are formed. Fold in the sugar and whisk on until the peaks become thick.
  • Use another bowl to mix the egg yolks, melted butter and vanilla seeds scraped from the vanilla bean. Use a spatula to fold the egg yolks gently into the egg whites.
  • Fold in the baking powder and flour, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.
  • Use another bowl to combine the cocoa powder and water to achieve a smooth paste.
  • Separate the batter in 2 and stir in the chocolate in one half. Pour the mixture into the greased pan. You can use a skewer to make swirls if you wish to do so.
  • Put the pans in the oven and let it heat for 50 minutes.
  • Once baked, remove and let the pan cool before removing the bread.
  • Now melt and drizzle the white and dark chocolate over the bread and let it sit for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

7. No Yeast Dinner Rolls

Sometimes you are running out of time when it comes to dinner. Or maybe you just started making dinner late, and nothing seems to be perfect for the short notice. A no kneads, no yeast dinner roll is a fast quick-bread answer to nights like those when you need working bread maker recipes. Very few ingredients, the short time span for preparation and above all, the delicacy is mouthwatering.


  • 1 cup of flour preferable self-raising
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Method of cooking

  • Use a medium-sized or large ball to have the floor and the sugar mixture evenly.
  • After that, the mayonnaise and milk are added then stirred to ensure they combine thoroughly.
  • Next, ensure that the muffin tins are sprayed with cooking spray. They are then filled with butter using a spoon until they are 3/4 full.
  • Maintain the temperatures in the oven at 350 degrees as you bake until they turn golden brown on top. That should take about 12 to 15 minutes.
  • The dough is meant to make 6 rolls, but eventually, it depends on how big you want them, or you make them.

8. Gluten Free Yeast Free Sandwich Bread

This is the perfect bread especially for those who are allergic to yeast- yes that happens. Just like some people are allergic to gluten, yeast is terrible to some. The bread can be made better with improved use of mixtures other than just using an all-purpose mixture of flour.

The list of ingredients will contain individual flours which makes it really up to you to come up with what works for you. If you prefer a particular mix, you can try and add the total of all the flours and use your own that is equal to the measure. you can even come up with your own bread recipes for the same.


  • 1/2 cup brown rice flour
  • 1/4 cup of corn, millet, or sorghum flour
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon. guar gum
  • 1/2 t. baking soda
  • 2 1/2 t. baking powder
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Method of cooking

  • Make sure that the oven is at 350 degrees before you start baking through preheating.
  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl until they are evenly mixed. Mix the wet ingredient in a separate bowl then add along with the dry ingredients. Mix them well until they are well incorporated. Keep beating for like 4 minutes.
  • Choose if you are going to use a regular loaf pan or mini loaf pans. For a regular, you need one, for small ones, you will need 2. Ensure they are well greased.
  • Put batter into them using a spatula and smear all over.
  • The total baking period should be between 30-40 minutes.
  • Once finished, remove it from the oven and put it on the rack in the open for cooling. Wait for at least ten minutes before you can slice it
  • Serve and enjoy your yeast free bread

The crust may be thick due to over-baking as we aim for a thoroughly done bread, but it will remain soft. It will give you the whole difference you are looking for when it comes to yeast free bread recipes.

8. Irish soda bread

This is among the easiest pieces of bread to make and most delicious for that matter. It is only made from four ingredients, but the taste is what makes this a go-to option among all bread recipes. If you are planning to have it for breakfast, it will go well cinnamon toast.


  • 2 cups of flour preferable all-purpose
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Method of cooking

  • Ensure that before baking, the oven is at 375ºF.
  • Grease the loaf pan by lightly spraying it using cooking spray.
  • When the pan is ready, mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Ensure that the mixture can form a soft dough with even consistency.
  • If you have to, add a little more buttermilk, a tablespoon or two.
  • Put all the dough in a greased loaf pan and place it in the oven.
  • Bake for approximately 35-40 minutes until the mixture turns golden brown
  • Afterward, leave your ready bread to cool then serve as desired.

9. Almond Blueberry Yogurt Bread

Fruity slices of bread seem the best choice to most people, and I will be lying if I said I am not one of them. With that said, your best bread machine recipes will be not that best if it didn’t have this Almond Blueberry Yogurt Bread.

The bread is a winner especially on occasions when sweet fresh berries are in plenty in the market and slices smeared in thick, dense yogurt, each slice will be a piece of heaven. also, the bread recipes are easy to follow.


  • 2 cup all-purpose flour plus 1 Tbsp
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-pint blueberries [around 1 1/2 cup]
  • 1/2 cup [1 stick] butter melted
  • 1 cup 2% or whole milk plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pure almond extract
  • 3 Tbsp roughly broken sliced almonds divided

Glaze: [Mix]

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp pure almond extract


  • Prior the start of the baking process, ensure you preheat the oven to at least 350 degrees
  • Clean your regular sized loaf pan and grease it. Alternatively, using cooking spray, you can spray it and put aside in readiness.
  • Mix your blueberries with 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
  • Have the remaining ingredients that include flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt mixed in a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, put melted butter, yogurt, eggs, vanilla, and almond extracts and whisk them. Then once they are thoroughly mixed, add them to the larger bowl consisting of drier ingredients and use your hand to mix them until moisture has been introduced. By hand mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until moistened.
  • With the consistency of the thick batter, have the flour coated blueberries folded into the batter? Repeat the procedure until the distribution is even.
  • Using a spoon, scoop chunks of the dough as you place them into the greased pan ensuring even distribution.
  • Armed with two tablespoons of the slivered almonds, sprinkle the top.
  • The baking duration should take around for 50-60 minutes. The bread should have the brown color and produce a clean tester when inserted into the center by the end of the baking duration.
  • Allow the baked bread to cool before using a glaze to drizzle it.
  • Finally, have the remaining almonds sprinkled on the top of your bread before you can sit and enjoy the finesse meal you just made.

Sour cream is another option that can be used in place of yogurt if that is what you want.

10. Peanut-Butter Banana Bread Maple Glaze

If you have not yet discovered the delicacy of this piece of bread, you are about to taste your favorite breakfast for years to come. Trust me on this especially if you are a fun of the famous banana bread. Not just plain banana bread, of course, i am talking about the banana bread with a few disguised details. When you add peanut butter you will definitely have some magical moments.


For the bread:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tired bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 7 tablespoons sour milk To make sour milk: adding 1 teaspoon white vinegar to the milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt optional
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

For the Glaze:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon maple extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream see note

Method of cooking

  • Make sure the oven temperatures are at 325 before the baking process.
  • Have the pan greased or sprayed with a cooking spray.
  • Make a mixture of oil, peanut butter, and sugar in a large bowl. Use a hand mixer to ensure that the result is a smooth mixture.
  • Next, the bananas, eggs, sour milk and baking soda are added to the blender where they are turned into a liquid substance.
  • The half of the liquid content is then mixed with 1 cup of the flour. It is then stirred until all the ingredients have been moisturized before the rest of the mixture is added with the addition of one cup of the flour.
  • Keep stirring the mixture until it is evenly combined and smooth.
  • Pour the batter in the already greased pan and let it bake for approximately 45-55 minutes. The top of the side of the bread should turn brown and when a toothpick is inserted at the center should come out clean but with a few crumbs. Cool completely before removing from the pan.
  • When it comes to the making of the glaze, have the melted butter, and powdered sugar whisked together into a smooth paste. With the addition of extracts, continue whisking until the result is a smooth mixture then add heavy whipping cream and continue whisking. This is the whisking process.
  • Immediately pour over the top of the bread and spread to the edges. Let dry before cutting.
    Enjoy the fine delicacy as a family snack, or with a small gathering.
